From The Progressive Bowls Team

Progressive bowls has been going well with good numbers with one Friday 28 attending. Everyone is enjoying themselves and there is lots of laughter. A reminder to please be at the stadium before the 1 pm cut off or text Gordon 022 467 1131 if you may be late but want to play. A big thank you to the ladies and one gentleman who often bring along afternoon tea. The players really enjoy tasting the baking. Welcome to the new faces who have been coming along and showing us their skills. Prizes have been shared around and everyone has a chance to take home a prize.

John Barton Memorial Trophy - Village / Club

13th July: An extremely enjoyable afternoon was had by everyone who attended, made even better by the afternoon tea that was great with all the home-made goodies brought along.

The Aspiring Village was beaten by the Club (Town) by 104 points to 88, so the Town are the holders of the John Barton Memorial Trophy until next year. - Jim Feehly

What's New on our Website?

On the footer of each page (including this one) is a link to Facebook Central Otago Bowls. All the most up to date information is there as it comes to hand.

On the "Whats On" on the home page I will put a new recommendation of what to watch from our Bowls TV page from time to time. The current link is the men's pairs final which Kevin Hickland (NZ Bowls Commentator) says is a "Must Watch" for bowlers learning the game. https://youtu.be/VZLZqH
